Help?
I'd like to buy a gently used, fairly affordable Brooks saddle for my boyfriend's 2007 SE Lager - anyone have a local lead, possibly? Spare laying around? I hear the fittings are non-standard on the Lager, but I'm not sure if this is an issue or not... any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Hopefully someone here will help you out but if you don't get any bites, try posting a "Wanted:" ad on Boise Craigslist. If that doesn't get you anything, then you may need to resort to eBay. A quick eBay search and it looks like there are quite a few Brooks saddles on the market:

As far as compatibility, as long as his bike has a normal seatpost, any two rail Brooks saddle should fit. I say "should" because it sounds like Brooks saddles have a non-standard rail length that may not allow one to get the saddle far enough back for longer-legged individuals. But this might not be a problem for your boyfriend. If it is, you could try to find a seatpost with more setback.
Also, don't forget to check the local shops. You never know what they have in their back-rooms.
