Boise Cycling

All things cycling-related in the Boise, Idaho area.

Just started riding in Boise and have made the dump loop the ride that I use to gauge my fitness. Curious to see what are considered good times to ride around the loop.

If you do the math from our results of the 2006 Cycling Classic (5 laps around the dump loop in August), the best was 45:12 by Calvin Allan. There were multiple mid to upper 45's and 46's as well.

That was done by going through town instead of the outskirts though. Not sure how much that might help or hurt, probably no more than 30 seconds one way or the other is my guess.
What about for regular guys that are not in a race? Someone told me that anything under an hour is pretty good.
Under an hour is pretty good under 55 would be even better and if you could do a sub 50 that would be excellent. You could also gauge your fitness by how many you can do at at a good pace as well.
