Bike locking & safety
I accidentally met Detective Jeff Dustin today (under good circumstances, fortunately!). He deals a lot with recoving stolen bikes and prosecuting bike thieves, and we shared a frustration about the poor manner in which many cyclists lock their bikes. He would like to help develop some promotional and educational items to help people learn to be wiser about locking up their bikes, and he would also like to local cycling advocacy groups about helping push for more prosecutorial action against bik… Continue

Boise Bike Week 2009
Howdy all! I just found this cool site, glad to be involved. I'm on the planning committee for Boise Bike Week 2009, and wanted to mention it. It's May 11-16, 2009. There are some great things planned, including a new and improved Pedal Power Parade on the 16th, which is going to be a true parade, rather than the basic ride it's been in years past. We're putting together some online resources, so keep an eye on BoiseBikeWeek.org.
