I just rode it this afternoon and the new pavement only goes about one mile further than the previous EOP (end of pavement). Then it turns to a hardpack dirt surface.

I heard that it was extended, but I haven't ridden it to find out how far. Maybe I'll get out there sometime this week.

If you do the math from our results of the 2006 Cycling Classic (5 laps around the dump loop in August), the best was 45:12 by Calvin Allan. There were multiple mid to upper 45's and 46's as well. http://www.spondoro.com/results/cyclingclassic/2006

Does anyone know how much further they chip sealed the road?

From the little bit that I rode, the quality of the road is somewhere between hard packed dirt and crappy chip seal, but you can still ride it on a road bike. It wo… Continue
