I cannot express how great it is to ride again. It is weird how even as a grown adult, the feeling of freedom and control of riding a bike is still exciting to this day. I remember learning how to ride. My sister loaned me her bike, and threw me in the rose bushes! At that point I learned something, besides to watch where I was going, I learned that I could control where I was going. After a few years of riding, I decided I wanted to start racing bmx. I enjoyed and lived and breathed bmx/freestyle from around 87-98. Then I felt I got too old. The area didnt really have anything available for the bmxer, and I had my first baby. Well, I didnt, but my wife did!! Anyhow, after taking several years off of riding, I now try to ride every day, even if it is just around the block. I am currently riding a mountain bike that is pretty much roadized! I am looking to get a road bike soon. Maybe even tonight!! There is a guy that wants to do some trading with me on a guitar I built, for his older road bike. Which will work for me cause the funds are hard to swing right now!!! Get some practice in and see if its my thing, then upgrade as I can. Well, to make a short story long as I already have, I am very happy to be back in the saddle agin! I now know that I missed alot about riding. Well, besides the rose bushes. Weird how the smell of a rose can make you tremble after 20 years!!
