Boise Cycling

All things cycling-related in the Boise, Idaho area.

The Cycle for Independence is a charity ride bennefiting the Treasure Valley Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Idaho. Profits from the ride assist the chapter in providing scholarships for blind/visually impaired students in Idaho, and helps the group deciminate training and educational materials to persons losing sight.

There are three rides, 10 mile, 25 mile, and 63 mile. The cost is approximately $35 per person, $25 for students. There are free bike socks for those who preregister now, and a free BBQ hosted by the Lyons club for all riders.

It is a great oppertunity to ride through beautiful NortWest Boise, make some new friends and enjoy a fabulous meal, as well as assist an organization that in one way or another touches most of our lives in one way or another. Most of us know someone losing their vision, or know of someone who could bennefit from this organization.

Please join us on May 22nd 2010 for this ride.

Pre-registration is available at tvcblindidaho.org.
